With a Y-piece, two hoses can be connected to one cyclone filter. This is convenient when, for example, dust from two machines needs to be extracted simultaneously or when a machine has two dust ports. Some table saws, for instance, have two dust ports for dust extraction: one at the bottom and the second one above the saw blade.

Important:
- If the rubber reducer size M and/or rubber reducer size L will be used with the corner connector or Y-pipe, it is recommended to glue the rubber reducer inside the tube for extra stability. Due to the weight of the hose and the associated downward pulling force, the reducer can be pulled out of the opening. This can be prevented with a small amount of glue.
