This filter system is a dust separator and ideal for sucking up dust, wood chips, grit etc. in the (home) workshop or, for example, at home during a renovation. The system works as a pre-separator, filtering up to 99% of the dust which therefore does not end up in the vacuum cleaner.

Filter combination M5-32M consists of cyclone filter model M5 and a 32 liter metal dustbin. Cyclone filter model M5 is made from very strong ABS. It filters up to 99.99% of the dust whereas cyclone filter model M2 filters up to 95%. The additional MESH filter creates improved airflow rotation, forcing dust more powerfully against the inner wall. In addition, the filter’s body is on average 30% wider, providing more internal space so that materials such as wood shavings are less likely to become tangled. The combination of the extra MESH filter and the wider body further enhances the filter’s performance. This makes the model M5 the best plastic cyclone filter in its class.
Reducer:
Cyclone filter model M5 comes standard with three plastic reducers that allow the filter’s 50mm (inner diameter) top inlet to be reduced in size. The adapters are tapered, enabling the nozzles of virtually all (professional) vacuum systems to fit securely into the top inlet.

Cyclone filter model M5 also comes supplied with a rubber sealing ring and mounting hardware.
The dustbin features a clamp lid and is airtight thanks to a rubber seal in the lid. It also has a stamped reinforcing ring that prevents the dustbin from collapsing under high vacuum pressure — something that often happens with weak (metal) drums and plastic buckets. In addition, the container is equipped with two handles, allowing the filter system to be moved easily, even when the container is full.
Because the dustbin is made of metal, it can be grounded. This helps reduce the buildup of static electricity.
